show, the first of its kind in the City of Detroit. The show was a huge
success. The show was held at MBAD Bead Museum and was free to the public.
The quilts displayed were all made by members of the Society and were
hung on clothes line from the trees that line the side of the gallery.
In 2006, the Society expanded the show by inviting other quilters to hand
their quilts. This was also the year that a class was taught in hand piecing.
